If you’re excited about building a brand that does things differently, this is that opportunity.What’s The JobThis is a high-visibility, cross-functional finance role sitting at the intersection of P&L ownership, FP&A, marketing analytics, and treasury. You’ll own the financial engine behind our DTC channel — partnering directly with the VP of Finance and working closely with DTC, Marketing, Ops Finance, and Accounting to turn financial data into decisions that actually move the business. This role is built for someone who brings both the question and the answer.What You’ll Be Doing, Stop Scanning and Read This PartP&L OwnershipOwn the DTC P&L end-to-end — track revenue, margin, and contribution by channel, SKU, and customer cohort; surface variance drivers with clear business contextOwn the DTC operating budget; hold cross-functional stakeholders accountable to spend and deliver variance analysis with clear commentaryProactively identify margin and cost opportunities across fulfillment, returns, and COGS; size the impact and support executionForecasting & PlanningLead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles; build and maintain rolling 12-month models that reflect real business assumptions, not just historical trendsBuild cohort-level retention and reorder models to quantify subscriber economics and inform acquisition strategyDesign and maintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure that give leadership real-time visibility into DTC financial performanceMarketing AnalyticsPartner with the DTC and marketing teams to measure and optimize performance across CAC, LTV, payback period, and ROAS — turning data into actionable spend recommendationsMonitor cohort-level retention and reorder models to quantify subscriber economics and inform strategyAct as a financial thought partner to a fast-moving ECOM team that continuously tests and launches new customer acquisition models — rapidly sizing, evaluating, and iterating on financial implications as new offers, bundles, and channels go liveTreasury & Cash Flow ManagementMonitor daily and weekly cash flow in close partnership with Ops Finance and Accounting, maintaining a consolidated view that reflects real-time DTC activity alongside broader company obligationsIntegrate the Capex forecast from the Sr. Director of Ops Finance into rolling cash projections, ensuring planned capital expenditures are properly reflected in liquidity positioningPull and reconcile accounts receivable data from Shopify and QuickBooks to track collections timing, identify gaps, and keep cash forecasts currentManage and report on corporate credit card utilization — track balances, payment timing, and available capacity as part of the short-term liquidity pictureQuantify the DTC channel’s specific impact on cash flow: subscription billing cycles, refund and return timing, fulfillment payment lags, and seasonal demand swings that affect working capitalServe as the connective tissue between DTC revenue activity and the company’s overall cash position — translating channel-level performance into treasury-relevant signals for leadershipOther duties as assignedWhat You’ve Done And Who You Are5+ years of financial analysis experience, ideally with direct exposure to a high-growth DTC or e-commerce businessBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldSomeone that can partner and influence at all different levelsDeep fluency in contribution margin economics, customer cohort analysis, and paid media financialsStrong modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar) a plusHands-on experience with Shopify and QuickBooks for financial data extraction and reconciliationComfortable operating at both the strategic level (scenario planning, board prep) and in the weeds (reconciling actuals, cleaning data)Actively leverages AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate recurring workflows, draft financial narratives, and scale output — treating AI as a core part of how you work, not an occasional shortcutAbility to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a fast-moving environmentA relentless drive to get things done.Flexible, willing, and quick to learn new processes, new technology, and new ways of thinking.Why You Might Like Working HereThis is going to be fun.Casual, friendly culture.
