Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of food and beverage service, and experience with POS systems. This role involves engaging with guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in fine dining or food industry settings is highly valued. The Server will be responsible for maintaining sanitation standards, managing guest relations, and upselling menu items to enhance the overall guest experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems like OpenTable Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Follow all sanitation, food handling, and safety protocols Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to upsell menu items effectively using sales techniques like upselling strategies Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is a plus Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is advantageous Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience can be beneficial for understanding menu offerings Join our team where your hospitality skills will be valued, and your passion for providing outstanding guest experiences can thrive.
