With a large and active project pipeline, CPS Outdoors emphasizes precise execution, strong communication, and durable craftsmanship in challenging environments.Role Description The Pool Construction Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL, responsible for supporting the construction of custom pools, spas, and related outdoor features from excavation through final detailing. This role includes reading and interpreting construction plans, setting elevations, assisting with layout, and coordinating with supervisors, subcontractors, and inspectors to keep projects on schedule and within quality standards. Daily responsibilities may include site preparation, forming, rebar installation, plumbing and equipment layout support, concrete and finishes coordination, and punch list completion. The Pool Construction Specialist will help ensure jobsite safety, maintain clean and organized work areas, and communicate field conditions or issues that may affect design, schedule, or budget. This position works closely with project managers, superintendents, and trades to deliver high-quality, technically precise pool and outdoor installations.Qualifications Hands-on experience with pool or aquatic construction, including layout, forming, structural work, or finishes.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and basic structural or plumbing details.Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials commonly used in pool and hardscape construction.Understanding of jobsite safety practices, OSHA guidelines, and safe use of tools and equipment.Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors, trades, and project stakeholders.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.Previous experience in luxury residential, commercial, or high-end outdoor construction is preferred.Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to job sites in the Miami area, and eligibility to work in the United States.High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in construction trades, pool building, or related fields are a plus.
