The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks related to concrete work and construction projects.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in the installation of concrete structuresPerform concrete finishing and masonry workOperate heavy equipment as neededSupport construction site activitiesAssist with flooring installationWork on stucco applicationsHelp with welding tasksSkills:To operate a volumetric concrete truck, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is typically required. Here are common job requirements for a CDL driver operating a volumetric concrete truck:Valid CDL License A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), typically a Class B or Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements (such as air brakes).Experience Prior experience operating a volumetric concrete truck or other concrete mixing equipment is often preferred. General commercial truck driving experience (typically 1-2 years or more).Knowledge of Concrete Mixing Understanding of concrete mixtures, proportions, and how to operate a volumetric concrete mixer. Ability to control the quantity of materials mixed and ensure the correct consistency of concrete.Clean Driving Record A safe driving history with minimal violations or accidents.Physical Ability Ability to lift and move heavy equipment or materials (often up to 50 lbs or more). Capable of working in physically demanding conditions (e.g., standing, bending, climbing).Safety Awareness Knowledge of and compliance with DOT regulations and safety guidelines. Familiarity with operating heavy machinery safely, including routine truck inspections and maintenance.Time Management and Punctuality Ability to manage schedules to ensure timely delivery of concrete to job sites. Strong sense of responsibility and reliability in completing tasks on time.Mechanical Knowledge Basic mechanical skills for truck maintenance and repairs.
