Job Title: Production TechnicianLocation: Frederick, MD Duration: 12 MonthsShift Details:Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PMNight Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AMCandidates must be flexible to work either shift as requiredInterview Process:One 30-minute Microsoft Teams interviewJob Summary:The Production Technician is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and supporting production processes in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role involves working on activities such as solution preparation, cell culture, purification, and formulation while following strict SOPs and documentation practices.Job Responsibilities:Operate processing equipment according to established SOPs, MPRs, & SPRs in compliance with cGMP standardsPerform manufacturing-related activities including solution preparation, cell culture, purification, and formulationTrain under qualified technicians to operate process equipment and meet qualification requirementsFollow and execute cGMP documentation accurately and in a timely mannerUtilize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for production activitiesAssist in troubleshooting and resolving non-routine production issuesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operationsMaintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirementsWork collaboratively with team members and cross-functional teamsPerform other duties as assignedEssential Requirements:0–1 year of experience with a High School DiplomaAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentBasic understanding of cGMP standards and regulated environmentsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsBasic computer skillsWillingness to work 12-hour shifts (day or night)Desirable Requirements:BS/BA degree preferred (STEM field such as Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, etc.)Prior exposure to cGMP, aseptic, or cleanroom environmentsInternship or academic lab experience in biotech/pharma manufacturing
