In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving utility equipment while advancing preventative and predictive maintenance practices to ensure safe and efficient operations.Your Responsibilities:Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance on chillers, HVAC systems, exhaust fans, and laboratory hoods, including seasonal servicingTroubleshoot, repair, and improve chiller and HVAC equipment, including response to off-hours emergencies as neededSupport and implement predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, eddy current testing)Communicate equipment status, downtime needs, and repair plans with cross-functional teams and contractorsCollaborate with utilities and manufacturing teams to drive equipment reliability and continuous improvementWhat You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in a technical field preferredRequired Experience: Experience or training in refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical systems in an industrial or commercial environmentTop 2 skills (all in one bullet): Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; effective communication and teamworkWhat will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):EPA Universal Certification for refrigerant handling (or ability to obtain)Experience with water-cooled and air-cooled chiller systemsExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentFamiliarity with predictive maintenance technologies and toolsExposure to plant utilities systems and HVAC controlsAdditional Information:Location: Clinton, IN Manufacturing SiteDon’t meet every single requirement?
