Primary Care FM & IM - Central CT. Description: Client is seeking Internists and Family Medicine Physicians to join their group. Both IM and FM physicians are welcome to apply for any openings in two locations. OPT1 The incoming candidate can expect a standard primary care or family medicine practice. Physicians typically work a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, and shared call of 1:15 (including one weekend of call approximately every three months). The option for a four-day work week is available. OPT2 The incoming candidate is anticipated to spend the majority of their time in the one location with one or more days a week in at another location. The main office is a newly built office space, opened in October of 2018, featuring Internal Medicine, Hematology & Oncology, and OB/GYN. A large lab facility is located at this facility with additional construction under way to add Physiatry and other specialties in the future. The primary care office was designed to maximize efficiency and intimacy for patients and their family. It utilizes a unique approach where patients wait in spaces just outside of their exam rooms. The Cromwell site is a single specialty office space shared by internists and advanced practitioners providing primary care.
