We've built the highest-rated practice management software and we're on track to become the market leader.We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who has strong problem-solving capabilities.Under the supervision of the IT lead, you will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure components, improving internal automation tools, and helping to identify and resolve user-reported issues.ResponsibilitiesAs an IT Support Engineer, your core responsibilities include:25% of your time working with the Internal IT team on new initiatives and projects75% of your time maintaining IT Infrastructure and support requestsCreation, research, analysis, engineering and implementation of internal technical solutions that assist in increased employee productivity and result in better self-serve IT environmentAnalysis and implementation of current security and compliance controls specific to internal IT processes and systems to ensure HIPAA-compliant internal infrastructureRead documentation and assist with Single Sign On & software integrationsCreate scripts and automations using programming languages such as Python, Bash, etc.Create knowledge base for implemented solutions and provide education to all employees on new processes and technologiesOn-call schedule to support our team members during off hours and weekendsProvide troubleshooting and problem resolution on employee issues with internal toolsMaintenance of hardware and software deployed to the infrastructure of the office and workstationsAid in onboarding and offboarding responsibilities and proceduresConnect and communicate with vendors to troubleshoot/implement new hardware and softwareWeekend rotational on-call (1 weekend day every 2 weeks)Desired Skills & ExperienceHigh school diploma (or equivalent) or higher degree2+ years of experience in ITTech savvy and comfortable with web apps including Slack, Google WorkSpace, Zoom Admin, Okta Admin, Mobile Device Management solutions and Identity lifecycle SaaS to ensure business runs smoothlyYou should be able to use these tools with ease and be resourceful to troubleshoot any issues you haveExperience in technical quality assuranceRecord and document results and compare to expected resultsGreat documentation and communication skills utilizing NotionProblem solving skills and ability to work under pressureAny technical certifications are welcomedPassion, drive, energy, and a great attitude!BenefitsWe offer a competitive benefits program including:Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance401(k) plan with company matchFlexible Time Off (FTO), wellbeing days, paid holidays, and summer FridaysMental health resourcesPaid parental leave & Backup CareTuition reimbursementEmployee Resource Groups (ERGs)California Job Applicant Privacy NoticeThank you for your interest in opportunities at SimplePractice LLC ("SimplePractice" or "us" or "we" or "our").
