Experienced Farm Manager

Job DescriptionA Phoenix area family-owned organic farm is looking to hire an Experienced Farm Manager to oversee all aspects of their organic and conventional farming operations. This exciting opportunity is ideal for candidates who have a minimum of 5+ years' experience and a proven background in longevity of employment. The company grows over 100 varieties of organic and conventional vegetables and heirloom crops. Farm Manager Responsibilities: Manage and oversee conventional and organically grown vegetables Oversee all farming operations and communicate efficiently with the owners Ensure efficient operation of farm equipment and promptly address maintenance issues Provide strong leadership and have a full understanding of both organic and conventional farming practices Withhold the company's high level of professionalism at all times Farm Manager Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in a farm managerial role A bacholor's degree in a related field preferred Strong leadership and people management skills Experience in crop rotation and sustainable/organic practices Passion for agriculture and a commitment to fostering a supportive community Ensure compliance with organic certification standards A strong understanding of irrigation systems, equipment operations, and maintenance Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver's licensePlease submit a current resume for consideration.
