Job Title: Compensation AnalystLocation: Newport Beach, CASchedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMDuration: 6 Months (Contract)Department: Nursing Education (Non-Clinical – Medical Office Support)Hourly Pay: $30/hr. on W2Job SummaryThe Sr. Compensation Analyst serves as a strategic partner to business units, providing expert guidance on compensation-related matters including job evaluations, salary structures, equity adjustments, and compliance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business leaders to advise on new positions, salary offers, and internal equityDevelop, interpret, and implement compensation policies and programsConduct market analysis and salary benchmarking to ensure competitive pay practicesManage and maintain job descriptions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standardsProvide data-driven insights and reporting to support compensation decisionsLead and support organization-wide compensation initiatives, including:Wage adjustmentsAnnual performance review cyclesHR automation and system enhancementsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local wage & hour lawsDesign and recommend salary structures, base pay, and incentive programsCollaborate cross-functionally to support performance management strategiesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related fieldMinimum 3+ years of HR experienceMinimum 2+ years of Compensation experienceStrong knowledge of:Federal & State Wage and Hour LawsPerformance Management practicesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Proven ability to:Lead compensation projectsInfluence and consult with senior leadershipManage multiple priorities independently
