HCA Healthcare has committed up to $300 million in programs to support our incredible team members over the course of three years.Job Summary and Qualifications As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will accomplish one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. You will perform tests on in-patients and out-patients utilizing a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment. We want you to apply now!What you will do in this role:You will perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.You will receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses and maintain radiation records.You will perform all tasks expected in rotation of hot lab area.You will utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment.You will perform all related duties such as; scheduling, charging exams, etc.You will take emergency after hours call on rotating basis.What qualifications you will need:1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferredBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date(RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer(CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-R)(N) RadiographyAssociate Degree, or Bachelors Degree - Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear school of medicine or Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.BenefitsRio Grande Regional Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
