We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage near Lucas, OH. Position DetailsStart Date:January 27, 2025 End Date:Ongoing Schedule:Regular shifts available, including daytime and nighttime blocks. Upcoming shifts include February and March hospitalist schedules. Includes active floor rounding during shifts.Practice HighlightsSetting:Inpatient coverage, with no outpatient duties required. Patients Per Shift:3-6 patients. Bed Count:24 in the department. Admissions:Required. Call Requirements:No supervision of advanced practice providers; some call-back scenarios may occur. Key RequirementsCertifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. ABLS and BLS required.Licensing:Must hold an active OH license or qualify for IMLC. Skills:Proficiency in both routine and high-risk obstetric care. Competence in surgical and minor gynecological procedures. Ability to handle complex deliveries, VBACs, and emergency scenarios.Facility FeaturesEMR System:Epic. Support Staff:Includes a team of RNs. Credentialing Timeframe:Approximately 45 days.
