This position plays a critical role in the daily operations of the department and offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at how student film productions are supported at the school.We are hiring mid spring 2026 - seeking to train workers who will stay on for the next academic year.ResponsibilitiesReport to supervisor at the beginning and end of each scheduled shiftComplete assigned administrative and operational tasks in a timely mannerProfessionally interact with students, staff, faculty, and guests in the workplaceMonitor department email, forward messages appropriately, and respond when neededSupport the Driver Authorization process as a liaison between students and staffFacilitate the Certificate of Insurance (COI) request process for student productionsConduct research to support production management tasksWriting, proof-reading and copy-editingFiling, scanning, archivingReview and audit production paperwork for completeness and accuracyTake meeting minutes and assist with file tracking and record keeping as neededMaintain a professional, respectful, and collaborative attitude when working with supervisors and team membersMaintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive student and production informationRequired QualificationsCurrently enrolled studentAvailable to work at least 4 hours per weekStrong administrative skills and attention to detailPunctual, dependable, and responsive to directionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and follow production safety protocolsProactive and comfortable working both independently and as part of a teamDesired QualificationsPrior administrative experienceInterest in or familiarity with film production workflowsProfessional demeanor and positive attitudeStrong problem-solving abilitiesAble to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlinesSpecial Instructions to ApplicantsThis role requires a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.Responsibilities may vary based on department needs and the production calendar.Training will be provided.Budget InformationIs Federal work-study required?
