Equipment TechnicianAaction Rents is looking for an experienced Equipment Technician who can hit the ground running and work independently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys varietysupporting multiple store locations, troubleshooting in the field, and taking ownership of repairs from start to finish.What You'll DoDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of rental equipment both in-shop and at customer job sitesTravel between store locations and job sites in a safe, timely, and professional mannerWork independently while supporting overall shop and store operations as neededCommunicate clearly with Service Coordinators, store teams, and customers on job status and timelinesComplete detailed service reports and maintain accurate repair logsOperate and test equipment to ensure safe and proper functionalityMaintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocolsStay current with ongoing training and development (minimum 20 hours annually)What We're Looking ForMinimum 2 years of mechanical experienceStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independentlyClean California Driver's LicenseSelf-motivated, dependable, and able to shift priorities quicklySolid communication and customer service skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in where neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 80 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbsComfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditionsFrequent standing, lifting, climbing, and working on uneven terrain
