SG360 seeks a Safety Engineer to enhance and execute our existing safety program within our offset and digital printing/finishing operations. This role necessitates a hands-on approach to maintain OSHA compliance and cultivate a robust safety culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to collaborate across departments and drive safety initiatives. Safety is fundamental to SG360's operations. This role requires a strategic approach to minimizing employee risk while supporting operational goals. The successful candidate will collaborate with operations to implement safety measures that protect employees, understanding the demands of the production environment. A steadfast commitment to employee well-being is essential. Job Duties Safety Program Implementation and Enhancement: Enhance and maintain existing safety programs and procedures to align with evolving OSHA regulations and industry best practices. Compliance Oversight: Ensure ongoing compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations. Hazard Identification and Mitigation: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures. Manage and facilitate safety training programs: Oversee the company’s LMS to assign, track, and monitor employee safety training completion. Develop and deliver supplemental training as needed to reinforce safety procedures and address specific hazards. Recordkeeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate safety records and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare and present safety performance metrics and reports to management. Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate safety information and requirements to all levels of the organization. Safety Committee Facilitation: Organize and lead monthly safety meetings, involving key stakeholders in identifying and resolving safety issues. Collaboration: Work closely with operations teams to identify safety concerns and develop solutions. Requirements: Qualifications Bachelor's degree in safety science, environmental health, or a related field is Required Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Proactive and results-oriented with a strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
