Medical Services Manager

Essential Functions:Works in partnership with the Director of Medical Services to ensure all the facets of OnPoint NYC's clinical sites are operating smoothly, delivering culturally competent and impactful careWorks to hone workflows between OnPoint's medical sites clinic; works with Montefiore HCV Program Director to ensure lab infrastructure and Montefiore clinic equipment is functioningOrganize quarterly department meetings with all three clinic sites to ensure fidelity to program objectives across sites, provide timely updates to changes to workflows and programs, and troubleshoot challenges through collaboration and innovationOrganize monthly site-specific meetings to ensure open communication and a planful approach to achieving program objectivesVisits each clinic site regularly to assess service provision and address challenges in a timely mannerOversees health promotion program implementation - including coordination of groups and events hosted in the clinical spaces.Responsible for keeping inventory of all clinic supplies and requesting supplies for clinical sitesAct as liaison with Montefiore to request suppliesWork with Director of Medical Services to submit purchase requests for needed supplies, ensuring that supply inventory is maintainedEnsures all medical equipment is functioningAssist RNs and CMAs to prep labs for transport, pick-up, and delivery to Montefiore; primary liaison with labs for pick-up of bloodwork and urine specimensAssist with directly observed therapy (DOT) for Hepatitis C medicationAttends case conferencing with Montefiore providers as requiredServes as primary liaison with Montefiore Medical Center, ensuring partnership remains vital and productive.Data and Reporting:Leads monthly reporting effort for all clinical sites, in addition to collecting and synthesizing reports from all clinic staffEnsures all services are thoroughly documented and submitted to the Data Department in a timely fashionAssists with data entry into Welligent; monitors service provision via WelligentMonitors service targets across contracts and support staff to achieve targets as assignedPersonnel Management:Oversee posting of clinic employment opportunities; supports hiring, onboarding and training of new hiresCoordinate Epic and Welligent trainings for all medical staff, ongoing skill building within the Epic and Welligent systems, and conducts registration of patients through Epic when neededCoordinate other trainings for medical staff as needed including point-of-care testing, HIV and HCV rapid training, wound careProvide supervision of clinic staff conducting monthly individual supervision sessions to ensure a high quality of care if being delivered and service targets are being reachedEnsure appropriate staff coverage of clinic hours at each site; oversee scheduling, time off requests, coverage planning, and timesheetsAttend meetings and trainings as directedReview and edit department staff timecards.Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:At least 4 years' experience working in community health with marginalized populations preferred. Including HIV positive individuals, active drug users, unstably housed individuals, sex workers or formerly incarcerated individuals.Experience working in Epic and Welligent EHR an assetExperience managing direct reports with diverse skillsets and abilities is essentialStrong program development and implementation skillsCurrent CPR/AED certification requiredMust be detail orientated and able to multitask in a high paced environment.Must be comfortable deescalating conflictMaintains respect and compassion for all clients being served, regardless of their active drug use or treatment compliance.Commitment to harm reduction and social justice as it pertains to individuals who use drugs or engage in sex work in a multi-cultural, multi-racial environment, in a non-judgmental way.Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
