Summer Help-Maintenance and Custodial Support

Seasonal Summer Employment Maintenance & Operations Reports To: Maintenance Director or Campus Administrator Position Summary: City View ISD is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to assist with summer maintenance and custodial projects throughout the district. This temporary position supports the preparation, upkeep, and improvement of district facilities and grounds during the summer months. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performing general labor and maintenance support tasks Moving and arranging furniture, equipment, and supplies Assisting with grounds maintenance and outdoor cleanup Organizing storage rooms, maintenance areas, and district inventory Cleaning classrooms, cafeterias, gyms, restrooms, and common areas Assisting custodial and maintenance staff with campus projects Painting classrooms, hallways, offices, and other district facilities Following safety procedures and district guidelines at all times Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable attendance and punctuality required Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and staff Prior maintenance, custodial, or groundskeeping experience preferred but not required Working Conditions: Frequent walking, lifting, climbing, and manual labor Exposure to heat, dust, cleaning chemicals, and outdoor conditions Use of hand tools and cleaning equipment as needed Employment Information: Seasonal summer position Hourly pay based on district guidelines Typical work schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime hours City View ISD is an equal opportunity employer.
