This position involves excellence in customer service and support of strategic operational development and is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, adaptable and has a growth mindset.Key Responsibilities2. Account Management:Support customer audits when required and ensure compliance with relevant standards.Coordinate, pack, and track customer product samples to facilitate effective follow-up.Aid in customer presentations as necessary to convey product value and benefits.Assist in delivering accurate and timely bids and quotes to meet customer requirements. Additionally, review shipping details, match them with bills of lading (BOL) and customer purchase orders (POs), and rectify any discrepancies promptly.Develop sales strategies, including warm and cold calling, to engage and rejuvenate underserviced or inactive accounts.Perform manual tracking of fresh sales and production activity until the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.Generate leads by creating call sheets for self and team members to optimize outreach and prospecting efforts.Facilitate the setup of new customers and ensure completion of the process.Handle, book, and monitor ground and air freight for key customers, proactively tracking shipments and addressing any issues such as missing trucks or late deliveries. Notify relevant parties promptly of any status updates.Address workload fluctuations as the restaurant and wholesale business rebounds, ensuring seamless operations.Provide coverage for team members during vacations, meetings, or special projects as needed.RequiredWhat you bring to Pacific Seafood High School Diploma or GEDValid driver’s licenseRequires ability to travel up to 15% of the timePreferred:Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in culinary arts, aquaculture, or business degreePhysical Requirements:DutiesThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
