Technical and Trade SchoolsOther Electrical Equipment and Component ManufacturingElectronics and Appliance RetailersNavigational, Measuring, Electromedical, and Control Instruments ManufacturingComputer and Peripheral Equipment ManufacturingJob DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Tweezers/small hand tools, microscope, solder iron, ability to use a respirator and solvent degreaserManual hand soldering for SMT and through hole components, following assembly drawings, handling optical fiber leads (will train)Perform under microscope, accurate, detailed level assembly workComprehend procedures/documentations/drawingsFollow procedures and drawings, light computer workJob Qualifications:Certified in industry standards: IPC J-STD-001 including space addendum (required), IPC-610 (Preferred), and MIL-STD-883 (Plus). MFG experience in PCB/Electronic assembly production environment including 3 or more years of SMT/ Thru hole solderingWorking in ESD controlled environment (Required)Experience in working with optics and lasers is a plus. Must have strong manual dexterity and be able to use small tools. Comprehend procedures/documentations/drawings.
