Area Manager - Lebanon Valley, Off-Premise

Job Summary Reporting to the State Manager, the Area Sales Manager will drive growth and brand presence in Central PA across assigned On-Premise and Off-Premise accounts. This will include servicing all customers in a safe and productive manner while increasing points of distribution according to our executional standards. Understanding the PA landscape and the self-distribution model is essential for this role. Emphasizing the benefits of direct distribution is crucial. This role will also be responsible for managing and growing the existing portfolio of accounts within the assigned territory along with a high focus on new business development. This role focuses on relationship building, product promotion, and executing sales strategies to increase brand visibility and drive case volume. Key Responsibilities Off-Premise Develop a strong understanding of the Pennsylvania self-distribution model, including key regulatory differences and product format advantages (e.g., 4-pack vs. 6-pack, 8-pack vs. 12-pack), and leverage this knowledge to educate accounts and convert indirect or non-buying customers to direct (self-distributed) partners Apply strong knowledge of self-distribution and product mix (e.g., 4pk vs. 6pk, 8pk vs. 12pk) to transition accounts from indirect to direct purchasing. Confidently articulate the benefits of self-distribution to off-premise accounts and drive adoption through strategic selling and relationship management Maintain accurate records of RTDC-permitted accounts within your assigned geography, ensuring compliance and up-to-date tracking of all active licenses Execute high-quality merchandising at key off-premise retail locations by ensuring product placement, shelf integrity, proper rotation, and deployment of branded signage and POS assets Utilize CRM systems and adhere to established sales strategies. Schedule, coordinate, and conduct sampling events and consumer activations at off-premise locations to drive product trial, awareness, and customer engagement Prospect and set appointments with new accounts through outbound calls and follow-up. Stay on top of Trends: read industry blogs, articles, and stay up to date with current topics and competition. Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activity. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry. Valid US Driver’s License and willing to travel up to 90% with dependable transportation. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to lift and transport up to 35 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field Proven track record in building effective relationships with customers and internal associates. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive in identifying customer issues, recommending solutions, and executing effectively to ensure resolution. Proven track record in building effective relationships with customers and internal associates. Military experience is a plus. Compensation Estimated Base Salary Range: $65,000-$85,000 USD. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications. The salary range refers to base salary only and is not inclusive of the total compensation package.
