Network Engineer
Job Title: Network EngineerLocation: New York, NY (Hybrid)Duration: 3 MonthsPay Range: $80/hr -$100/hr on W2 (DOE)Responsibilities:Experience with Cisco Nexus and IOS-XE platforms in a large enterprise environmentHands-on design, implementation, and operations of Cisco Nexus (3K/5K/7K/9K running NX-OS) in spine–leaf data centers and IOS-XE platforms (Catalyst 9000, ASR/ISR) in campus/edge at enterprise scale.Deep L2/L3 expertise including vPC, VDCs, STP/MST, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF/BGP, QoS, multicast, and modern data center fabrics such as VXLAN EVPN.Network automation and programmability using Ansible/Python and model-driven interfaces (NETCONF/RESTCONF, YANG), including CI/CD pipelines, pyATS/Genie testing, and configuration-as-code practices.Lifecycle and reliability management: image governance/golden builds, ZTP/PNP onboarding, upgrades and ISSU, change control, and designing for high availability and redundancy across data center and campus.Proactive monitoring and troubleshooting with SNMP/syslog/streaming telemetry, NetFlow, SPAN/ERSPAN, TACACS/RADIUS, and collaboration with Cisco TAC; implementation of security controls such as ACLs, 802.1X, DHCP snooping, CoPP, and MACsec.Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment.Qualifications:6-9 years’ experience.Certifications required: CCNP / CCIEBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldProven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANsHands-on experience with network equipment and technologies, such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo AltoFamiliarity with network monitoring tools and network security best practices PrideGlobal and it's affiliates offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
