Sr Network Administrator

Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of data networks and services. This role involves deploying, managing, and optimizing both on-premise and cloud-based network environments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and play a key role in supporting critical business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS)Configure and support network hardware, firewalls, and third-party cloud connectivity solutionsTroubleshoot complex network issues using packet capture analysis, logs, and performance metricsCollaborate with internal teams and external vendors to design and optimize network topology, routing, and service levelsDevelop and implement monitoring, alerting, and response runbooks to ensure optimal network performanceAdhere to Incident, Problem, and Change (CAB) management processesPerform capacity planning and support disaster recovery initiatives to ensure business continuityAssist project teams with network architecture and solution design for new implementationsCoordinate installation and upgrades of network hardware and software across enterprise environmentsEvaluate and recommend network technologies, products, and standardsManage lifecycle of network devices, including patching, upgrades, and hardware refreshesDeploy and maintain security infrastructure including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutionsDesign and implement Wireless LAN (WLAN) solutionsEngage with vendors and service providers for procurement and support of network servicesMaintain accurate and up-to-date network documentationRequired Qualifications & Experience2–4 years of hands-on experience in network administration or a related roleStrong experience with:Palo Alto FirewallsCisco Catalyst & Nexus switchesCisco Wireless solutions (Client, Prime Infrastructure)F5 BIG-IP (various modules)Experience with public cloud networking (Azure and/or AWS)Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systemsFamiliarity with automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible, Nornir, Python, Terraform, or GoSolid understanding of networking protocols, routing, switching, and security principlesExperience supporting data center environments or working with managed data center providersStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with monitoring and network management tools such as:LogicMonitorNetScoutNetBoxTemporalExposure to infrastructure automation and DevOps practicesAdditional RequirementsWillingness to provide off-hours and weekend support as neededAbility to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotationOccasional travel may be required
