The platform supports plan sponsors in the configuration of DC plans and operates in a mixed-technology environment including Java, Spring, Angular, and Oracle across multiple application tiers.The RoleThe Senior Developer should possess strong hands-on experience with Java core, Spring, and Web Services development using Angular, REST APIs, and related technologies. Candidates should have experience across the full software development lifecycle including roadmap planning, design, development, deployment, and rotational production support.Required Skills & Experience6+ years of programming experience in Java, JavaScript frameworks, and client-side technologiesStrong understanding of Microservices architecture using Spring WS, REST patterns, OAuth, Swagger, and Apache CamelExperience with DevOps concepts and implementationExpertise in Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot developmentExperience developing RESTful APIs and service orchestration/routing solutionsStrong experience with Server-Side Java, J2EE, REST, SQL, JUnit, and TomcatExperience with front-end technologies including HTML5, Angular, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, and Responsive Web DesignExperience working in Agile environments with CI/CD, Git, Maven, and JIRAExperience with containerization and cloud deployment technologies, preferably Azure CloudExperience with API modeling tools such as SwaggerExperience building reusable frameworks, SDKs, interceptors, and abstraction-based solutionsStrong understanding of Data Structures including Binary Trees, Binary Search Trees, Graphs, and traversal algorithmsAbility to analyze business/system requirements and develop technical solutionsStrong communication and collaboration skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred The Team The team consists of globally distributed IT professionals responsible for development and maintenance of a large-scale Product Administration Platform supporting Workplace Investing operations.
