The development and contribution of team members are central to Tiercon’s long-term success and growth.Role Description The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing automotive exterior component programs from concept through launch, ensuring that customer requirements, timing, cost, and quality objectives are met. In this full-time hybrid role based in Stoney Creek, ON, or Sterling Heights, MI with some work-from-home flexibility, the Program Manager coordinates cross-functional activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining program timelines, managing budgets, tracking key milestones, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks. The role involves serving as the primary contact for customers, facilitating regular status reviews, and ensuring clear communication of program changes and expectations. The Program Manager also supports continuous improvement initiatives, contributes to process optimization, and helps drive successful implementation of new technologies and methods.QualificationsExperience managing complex manufacturing or automotive programs, including ownership of timelines, budgets, and deliverables.Knowledge of product development processes, from design concept through production launch, ideally in plastics, molding, paint, or assembly operations.Strong skills in stakeholder management, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and maintain effective customer relationships.Proficiency in project management tools and methods, including risk management, change control, and status reporting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and continuous improvement.Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentation capabilities.Post-secondary education in engineering, business, or a related field; equivalent experience in automotive manufacturing will be considered.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, quality systems, and technical documentation (e.g., CAD data, testing reports) is an asset.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple programs and priorities.Previous experience in the automotive supply chain or tiered supplier environment is preferred.
