DescriptionUESI is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead, maintain, and continuously improve its established 10 CFR 50 Appendix B Quality Assurance Program in support of nuclear and industrial projects.This role is responsible for ensuring all work complies with applicable regulatory, contractual, and company requirements. The QA Manager operates with a high degree of independence from production, maintains stop-work authority to uphold quality and safety standards, and serves as the primary QA liaison with clients, auditors, and executive leadership. For more information, visit: www.uesi.comResponsibilities:Lead and maintain UESI's Quality Assurance (QA) ProgramEnsure compliance with nuclear regulatory and industry standardsReview purchase orders (POs) and contracts for QA requirementsExercise stop-work authority when necessary to maintain quality and safety standardsPlan and lead internal, vendor, and client auditsManage vendor qualification processes and approved vendor lists (AVL)Represent UESI during external audits and QA oversight activitiesOversee training, qualification, and certification of QA personnelEnsure proper inspection, testing, and documentation practices are followedManage corrective action programs, including NCRs, root cause analysis, and trend evaluationMaintain QA documentation, records, and audit schedulesQualifications:Minimum of 7 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience, QC experience in nuclear or highly regulated environmentsStrong working knowledge of industry quality standards and requirementsDemonstrated experience with audits, including planning, execution, and reportingProven experience managing and maintaining QA programsRegulatory & Industry Standards, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ANSI/ASME NQA-1, and 10 CFR Part 21Experience with nuclear or industrial coatings systemsNQA-1 Lead Auditor certificationASQ (American Society for Quality) certification (e.g., CQA, CQE, or CMQ/OE)RequirementsMaintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final considerationPossess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job siteRead, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English languageBasic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team membersAble to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material, with a variation of elevation 19" or less (mud, gravel, rutted ground, etc.)Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working
