Excellent career growth opportunityAs a Senior Data Centre Attorney, you will serve as a lead advisor on the full lifecycle of data centre assets—from initial site acquisition and power procurement to operational compliance and hyperscale leasing. You will work closely with senior leadership to mitigate risks in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure & Development: Lead negotiations for site acquisitions, land use, and complex construction contracts.Energy & Power Strategy: Draft and negotiate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and support sustainability initiatives.Commercial Transactions: Manage high-value colocation agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), and equipment procurement.Regulatory & Compliance: Advise on data privacy (GDPR/CCPA), cybersecurity, and environmental regulations impacting large-scale infrastructure.Strategic Advisory: Partner with executive teams on mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures within the digital infrastructure space.Required QualificationsEducation: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership (or eligibility for admission) in Massachusetts.Experience: 7–10+ years of legal experience, ideally with a blend of law firm and in-house experience in technology, telecommunications, or real estate.Industry Knowledge: Deep expertise in technology transactions, cloud computing, and energy procurement is highly preferred.Skills: Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business guidance.Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: Targeted at $250,000 – $350,000 + commensurate with experience.PLUS excellent overtime modelTotal Rewards: Eligible for annual bonuses, comprehensive health benefits (medical/dental/vision), 401(k) matching, and parental leave.Working Environment: Many positions in the Boston market offer hybrid working arrangements.*** 3 days in the office / 2 days work from home available*** International travel / experience available***True work life balance and low billable
