Job Description:This is a technical lead role working with cross-functional teams and agency business teams to support and implement complex agency contact center solutions.Specifics below:Responsibilities:Maintaining the Cloud team’s standard environments and services, server builds, upgrades, updates, certificates, etc.Implementing automation for as many of the above standard O&M responsibilities as possible and developing new efficiencies and improvementsServing as an interface to other infrastructure and development teams to move Cloud priorities forward.Building and maintaining tools to manage deployment activities.Providing support for custom tools as requiredWindows and Linux Operating system knowledgeManaging COTS tools required to support the Cloud team.Manage compute capacity to identify under or over provisioned services and right size as appropriate.Manage and solution for AWS Trusted Advisor recommendationsEnsuring exceptional documentation and communication of processes, procedures, and efficienciesDesign, deploy, and safeguard AWS cloud systems to ensure both reliability and security.AWS Configuration: Implement and manage AWS policies, ensuring robust user management and device security.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage IaC scripts utilizing tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, Python or YAML.Security and Compliance: Implement security protocols and ensure systems comply with industry standards while conducting routine security assessments.Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and resolution for system issues, optimizing system performance.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation on system configurations, procedures, and performance reports.QualificationsJob Requirements:Maintaining the Cloud team’s standard environments and services.Implementing automation for as many of the above standard O&M responsibilities as possible and developing new efficiencies and improvementsServing as an interface to other infrastructure and development teams to move Cloud priorities forwardBuilding and maintaining tools to manage deployment activities.Experience with AWS Services such as EC2, CloudWatch, SystemManager, Lambda, S3, EFSSolid understanding of AWS cloud environment and services, security and networking.Providing support for custom tools as requiredManaging COTS tools required to support the Cloud teamEnsuring exceptional documentation and communication of processes, procedures, and efficiencies5+ years relevant systems administrationDatabase administration is a plus.Strong scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Python)DevOps experience, to include building, deploying, and operating softwareBroad understanding of DevOps tools and technologiesExperience with infrastructure automation and monitoring toolsHave a basic understanding of the Google cloud environment and servicesBenefits:HP offers a comprehensive benefits package for this position, including:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLong term/short term disability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountLife insuranceGenerous time off policies, including;4-12 weeks fully paid parental leave based on tenure11 paid holidaysAdditional flexible paid vacation and sick leave Work Location : Remote
