By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a DevOps Release Senior Engineer to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).Roles and ResponsibilitiesForward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolioExtensive hands on experience in application support, performance testing and AkamaiExperience in Cloud architectureAWS CertificationDomain expertise in DevOps, Security systems administration, Software development and cloud technologies.Expert on application monitoring tool like Dynatrace, AppDynamicsExpertise on Splunk query language and creating dashboard.Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and qualityMeasure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectationsCoordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updatesCommunicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changesManage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locationsConduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviewsProduce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation PlansWeekly Release ReportingExpert in Build and Release Dev Ops Engineering in building, deploying, and releasing of complex enterprise applicationsExperience in working as Dev Ops engineer/Build & Release engineer for release automation of enterprise applications to achieve continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI and CD)Developed Shell scripts for automation of the build and release process.Experience in managing and maintaining various Version Control Tools SVN, GIT, Perforce, IBM Rational ClearCase, Bitbucket, Github.Experience in Change Management Processes and ProceduresExperience in setting up Upstream and Downstream Jobs Jenkins and Hudson. Worked with Jenkins PipelinesSolid Experience in SCM tools Chef and Puppet for configuration management on multiple platforms.Experience in Atlassian Tool Stack (JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, Bamboo, Bitbucket).Experienced in DevOps tools such as Chef, Vagrant, Puppet, Ansible, Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, ANT, SVN, GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift and EKS.Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as requiredNegotiate, plan and manage all release activitiesWork with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code mergesMaintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.Continually work towards making improvements in the release processLead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platformsParticipate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocksThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
