We are currently seeking dedicated Line/Prep Cooks to join our culinary team at Armor Brewing Co. As a Line/Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality, contributing to an unforgettable dining experience at our brewpub.Responsibilities:Prepare ingredients and assist in the production of menu items following established recipes and presentation standards.Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring efficient and timely service during peak periods.Execute all cooking techniques with precision and maintain consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of dishes.Adhere to proper food handling and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and proper storage of ingredients to minimize waste.Collaborate with the culinary team to contribute ideas for menu development, seasonal specials, and brewpub events.Operate kitchen equipment and appliances safely, following all operating procedures and safety guidelines.Maintain knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, allergens, and special dietary considerations.Follow direction from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional food quality.Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper equipment maintenance.Requirements:Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or a similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment is preferred.Solid understanding of various cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and culinary fundamentals.Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the culinary team.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
