This will be the right hand to the CFO while leading Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, and running point on audit. Their ideal candidate must have a Public Accounting upbringing and some technical accoutning knowledge.Perks:Steadily Growing CompanyOpportunity for continued growthEquity OfferedResponsibilities:Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting rules (including required 10-Q and 10-K filings), and other regulatory standards the company must meet.Lead, support, and guide the accounting and finance teams, helping ensure day-to-day operations stay organized and effective.Develop and maintain strong internal controls, making sure the team follows company policies and established procedures.Identify and assess financial risks and take steps to manage or reduce those risks before they impact the business.Oversee the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and routine financial reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Review financial statements, investigate any discrepancies or unusual items, and compile consolidated reports for leadership.Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, coordinating with auditors and supporting all external reporting needs.Lead management's review and documentation of internal controls under the COSO framework to support required certifications.Supervise accounting for critical areas such as revenue recognition, inventory, debt, and equity-based compensation to ensure proper reporting.Research and interpret technical accounting guidance, stay current with new standards, and determine the appropriate treatment for complex or unusual transactions.Provide financial insights and analysis that support decisions related to investments, pricing, and contract evaluations.Manage and coach team members across multiple locations, promoting alignment, collaboration, and ongoing professional growth.Requirements:Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldPublic Accounting at Big 4 or Mid-Tier firms are required.CPA license preferred.Strong organizational and project management skills.Collaborative team player with positive attitude.
