Job Role: Survey Crew ChiefLocation : Wilkes-Barre, PASalary: $52,000.00 - $72,800.00Must-Haves1 Associates or Bachelors degree in surveying and 3 years of relevant survey experience or; 7 years of relevant survey field experience2 1 year of experience supervising a team3 Capable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environmentNice-To-Haves1 107 Drone license,2 Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) certificationJob Description:RESPONSIBILITIES:Collect physical features of the land using various types of survey equipment such as levels, total stations, and GPS, 3D scanners, Drones, etc.Establish property linesResearch deeds and mapsCoordinate the work of the survey crew to determine elevations and to stake boundaries for map making, construction, land, and other surveysReduce electronic field notes in the computer network, and extracts electronic data for field useCollect field notes using both paper field book and electronic field bookPrepare existing conditions plans for designLead field crew in the day-to-day operationsAssist project managers with proposal development and ensure client needs are metEffectively communicate client goals and objects to both internal and external participantsPerform a diverse range of survey work including but not limited to Transportation, Industrial, Oil & Gas, Power, Construction, etc.Work with a broad range of survey equipment including but not limited to GPS, Total Stations, 3D Scanners, Drones, etc.Adhere to and enforce company and client safety proceduresTravel to work sites which includes extended-stay travel 20% of the timeQUALIFICATIONS:Associates or Bachelors degree in surveying and 3 years of relevant survey experience or; 7 years of relevant survey field experience1 year of experience supervising a teamSurveyor-in-Training (SIT) certification, preferred107 Drone license, preferredCapable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environmentMust be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly with or without accommodationMust possess a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle to travel to work sitesWillingness to travel for extended periods of timeWillingness to work 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, 5 days per weekMust be able to pass a drug screening and background checkMust be a US citizen or permanent resident
