Title: Microsoft Infrastructure & Applications Engineer (Microsoft 365 | Windows Server | SQL Server)Location: Greater Holyoke Area, MA (Hybrid)Employment Type: ContractStatus: Accepting CandidatesAbout the roleWe are seeking a Microsoft Infrastructure & Applications Engineer to support and enhance enterprise business applications within a Microsoft-based environment. This role combines hands-on application support, systems administration, integration development, and production troubleshooting across both on-premises and cloud platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and support integrations between enterprise systems to meet business requirements.Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.Design, develop, test, install, and configure applications and system enhancements.Support Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, .NET, and Microsoft 365 environments.Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities while adhering to IT standards and change controls.Collaborate with users, SMEs, and technical teams and provide knowledge transfer as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, .NET, and Microsoft 365.Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID identity and access management services.Knowledge of networking, hosting, and enterprise application environments.Experience supporting both on-premises and cloud-based Microsoft solutions.Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):Estimated hourly range: $55–$65/hr (W-2).Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
