Senior Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities Manage and maintain fab tools across multiple process areas to ensure consistent performance and reliability. Lead troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and upgrade projects to maximize equipment uptime and yield. Supervise and mentor a team of equipment technicians assigning tasks and ensuring quality completion. Collaborate with R&D, production and facilities teams to enhance tool performance and drive process improvements. Plan and execute comprehensive maintenance schedules ensuring all tools meet performance and safety specifications. Work directly with machine suppliers to resolve issues, implement upgrades, and improve reliability. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibration, spare parts and performance metrics. Drive safety initiatives by investigating and correcting equipment related hazards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related Engineering field. At least 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance preferably in semiconductor, electrical or HVAC environments. Hands on experience with mechanical systems, vacuum systems and basic electrical controls. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to lead cross functional problem solving efforts. Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime as needed. Experience with wafer fabrication tools or related manufacturing equipment. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with documentation systems. Understanding of measurement tools calipers, gauges and basic math for process tolerances. xywuqvp Proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a cleanroom setting.
