Job DescriptionStatic Building Services Engineer - Birmingham - Salary up to £38,000CBW has an excellent new opportunity for a static Building Services Engineer to join a leading facilities company. This is covering a commercial site in a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. with no on call.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesMonitor mechanical plantPumps, Motors, Seals, BearingsPlumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washersBMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenanceMaintain and update LogbooksWorking to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimesChanging taps/washersRepair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM & reactive.Managing priorities within contract constraints.Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals.Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.Person SpecificationPreviously worked within a maintenance environmentPost apprenticeship experience within a maintenance environmentGood knowledge and understanding of a range of complex mechanical systems (Desirable)Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline to City & Guilds levelGCSE / O Level Mathematics and English or equivalentPrevious Competent Person/Authorised Person experience including ventilation and/or pressure systems (Desirable)Salary & BenefitsBasic Salary of up to £38,000No Call outMonday to Friday 08.00 – 17.0023 days holiday + Bank HolidaysTablet & Work Phone ProvidedFull company uniform
