Network Analyst
Position: Networking/ Infrastructure AnalystDuration: 6-month contract to hire- this will convert to a full-time employee.Conversion Salary: $85k–$100k (flexible)Location: Wichita HQ- must be in Wichita or the surrounding area. Onsite Schedule: 5 days a week on site, then moves to Hybrid after the contract.Must-Haves:4 + years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments (not desktop-focused)Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VPNs, Network segmentationExperience with incident response / incident managementUnderstanding of network security principles (access control, troubleshooting connectivity issues)Exposure to Cisco networking equipmentExperience working with monitoring tools (PRTG)Experience supporting multi-domain environmentsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPlusses:Experience supporting highly complex or segmented networks (20+ domains)Experience managing or supporting cloud connectivityAWS exposureHyper-V experienceDay-to-Day:Insight Global is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst for a client in the Wichita, KS area, with a primary focus on network operations, incident response, and enterprise connectivity support within a large, multi-domain environment. Responsibilities include responding to network-related alerts from PRTG, participating in incident response and troubleshooting for connectivity, access control, and security-related issues, and supporting network segmentation and enterprise routing concepts. The role works closely with a dedicated networking team and requires strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VPNs, and network security principles, though hands-on configuration is handled by another group. The analyst will also support hybrid and cloud connectivity, collaborate during incidents, and communicate effectively across teams using ServiceNow. Participation in 2-week system and patching rotations is required to support overall infrastructure stability. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire, career-oriented role supporting a complex enterprise network environment.Additional Note: If you do not have everything, they are willing to train but you must have a solid foundation.
