Supervisor, Quality Control

Responsible for the planning, implementation and supervision of procedures and operations of Quality Control and SystemsSupervise key functions of quality control operations for all materials in distribution center, inbound and outbound inventory including frames, cases, pop, and packagingEnsure accurate and timely recording, tracking and reporting of all quality reviews, analysis and transactionsMonitor workflow and procedure for assigned areasImplement and manage quality control procedures for inspection and compliance with product specifications including, but not limited to, visual product quality standards, compliance with product specifications and technical tolerances, damage or defective, accuracy of vendor documentation, inbound packaging, labeling, and carton marksPlan and execute QC inspection schedules in line with all inbound freight to include issuance of allocation percentage of receipts for inspection, vendor documentation review for compliance and timely inspection process and return to inventoryEnsure daily system updates on all transactions.Monitor and report weekly compliance related issues; manufacturing quality, vendor documentation discrepancy, vendor receiving discrepancy, damages, inbound packaging, ticketing and labeling, system holds and QC blocks, and proposed resolutionsManage and report vendor related issues to document non-compliance, propose and close corrective action, determine vendor chargeback, return to vendor for repair and vendor scorecardSupervise production teams to ensure quality and packaging standards are checked during pick, VAS, and outbound ships and issues addressed timelyOversee quality inspections during returns process to ensure goods posted back into inventory are compliant and meet standardInspect and send for repair or rework frames according to product standard and change requirement.Review quality concerns with leadership and recommend resolution to any routine or complex issues; communicate with factory sources and coordinate returns; assure quality resolution and track implementationsWork closely with other departments in supply chain, distribution center and sales to address and track issues for timely resolution and system updatesSupervise directly and/or through subordinates all activities associated with quality control procedures and complianceEstablish and maintain working relationships with key personnel and communicates with internal and external clients as neededManage team members including employees functioning as Assistant Supervisors, Lead Clerks, Clerks and temporary personnelResponsible for recommending annual objectives and profit planMonitor hours worked, provide coaching and performance reviews for team members and temporary personnelSupervise team member's attendance records and schedules, and ensure that the department is properly staffed at all timesInterview for open positions as neededAssure team members receive appropriate programs to develop technical and leadership skills, thereby stimulating personal growth and development of subordinatesAdminister company safety program and takes timely corrective action to prevent injury and destruction of company property.Assist other teams to complete special projects or time sensitive tasks as neededPerform all duties as assignedJob SpecificationsTypically has the following skills or abilities:Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a business-related environmentStrong computer skills required; Working knowledge of SAP preferred; Working to intermediate knowledge of MS Excel a preferredExcellent interpersonal communication skills requiredExcellent project management skills and experience managing large projects required.Must be able to prioritize workMust be able to work accurately and safely under pressureOvertime and weekend hours may be requiredTravel domestic and international#LI-MARCHONCompensationrange for the role is listed below.Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets.Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.As a part of the compensationpackage, this role may include eligible bonuses and commissions.
