Desktop Support Technician *About the Role *We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our IT Support team. In this role, you'll provide essential technical assistance to employees experiencing software, hardware, and connectivity issues. Key Responsibilities Manage the incident management queue and resolve support requests within company guidelines. Troubleshoot escalated issues from the Service Desk and deliver high-quality, customer-focused support. Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and networking issues following established procedures. Support employees accessing corporate data on personal devices using mobile application management (MAM) tools such as Microsoft Authenticator, Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams. Maintain detailed documentation of company PC assets and update asset records as needed. Technical Skills *Operating Systems: * Strong expertise in Windows 11 configuration and troubleshooting. MacOS experience preferred. *Software Troubleshooting: * Strong understanding of installation, configuration, and problem resolution. *Endpoint & Device Management: * Experience supporting BYOD environments and MAM tools. *Networking: * Knowledge of wired/wireless connectivity concepts and troubleshooting methods. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Des Moines, IA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
