Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton - Accela Rehab & Care Center at SomertonAddress: 650 Edison AvePhiladelphia, PA 19116Now Hiring: Maintenance DirectorAccela Rehab & Care Center at Somerton is now hiring an experienced and dependable Maintenance Director to lead all aspects of facility maintenance and ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.This is a key leadership role for someone who takes pride in their work, understands healthcare facility standards, and enjoys being hands-on while managing a team.Responsibilities of the Maintenance Director:Oversee all maintenance operations, repairs, and preventative maintenanceEnsure compliance with state, federal, and life-safety regulationsMaintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safetySupervise and schedule maintenance staff and outside vendorsRespond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency situationsConduct regular inspections of the facility and groundsMaintain proper documentation, logs, and work ordersSupport survey readiness and address deficiencies as neededQualifications of the Maintenance Director:Previous maintenance leadership experience (healthcare or nursing home preferred)Strong working knowledge of building systems and preventative maintenanceFamiliarity with life safety codes and regulatory requirementsAbility to manage staff, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesReliable, professional, and resident-focusedOn-call availability for emergencies as neededWe Take Care of Our Own!
