Accela Rehab & Care Center at SomertonAddress: 650 Edison AvePhiladelphia, PA 19116Now Hiring: Maintenance DirectorAccela Rehab & Care Center at Somerton is now hiring an experienced and dependable Maintenance Director to lead all aspects of facility maintenance and ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.This is a key leadership role for someone who takes pride in their work, understands healthcare facility standards, and enjoys being hands-on while managing a team.Responsibilities of the Maintenance Director:Oversee all maintenance operations, repairs, and preventative maintenance Ensure compliance with state, federal, and life-safety regulations Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety Supervise and schedule maintenance staff and outside vendors Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency situations Conduct regular inspections of the facility and grounds Maintain proper documentation, logs, and work orders Support survey readiness and address deficiencies as needed Qualifications of the Maintenance Director:Previous maintenance leadership experience (healthcare or nursing home preferred) Strong working knowledge of building systems and preventative maintenance Familiarity with life safety codes and regulatory requirements Ability to manage staff, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Reliable, professional, and resident-focused On-call availability for emergencies as needed We Take Care of Our Own!
