Experienced Interior Designer for Speakeasy Project

About Us:
We are excited to launch a new speakeasy in Midtown, inspired by the elegance and charm of the 1920s. Our vision is to create an intimate, sophisticated atmosphere with a rich color palette of black, gold, and emerald green. We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to bring this vision to life in a 400-square-foot space.
Role Overview:
As the Interior Designer for this project, you will be responsible for leading the design and renovation process from concept to completion. Your role will include using our mood board and vision to develop design concepts, selecting materials and furnishings, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget. You will also leverage your connections with local vendors to source unique and high-quality decor elements that enhance the speakeasy's theme.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development: Create a comprehensive design plan that reflects our vision for the theme, utilizing the color palette of black, gold, and emerald green.
Vendor Coordination: Utilize your network of local vendors to source materials, furniture, lighting, and decor that align with the project's aesthetic and quality standards.
Project Management: Oversee the renovation and installation process, coordinating with contractors and ensuring all work is completed within the 8-10 week timeline.
Budget Management: Manage the project budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or design integrity.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with the ownership team to incorporate feedback and ensure the final design meets their vision and expectations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing projects in the hospitality or luxury sectors, particularly themed environments.
Vendor Connections: Proven relationships with local vendors, craftsmen, and suppliers in Miami.
Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite), strong project management skills, and an eye for detail and aesthetics.
Knowledge: Understanding of vintage and elegant design styles, with the ability to blend classic elements with modern touches.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and work collaboratively with clients and contractors.
