Foundation Events Manager

Foundation Events Manager - Nyack Foundation Department Reports to: Executive Director Salary Range: $80K - $88K Job Summary: The Foundation Events Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and growth of all fundraising events that support Montefiore Nyack Hospital. This role focuses on delivering high-impact, revenue-generating experiences while strengthening donor engagement and community visibility. # Key Responsibilities: # Lead all fundraising events (Derby Royale, Golf Classic, Rides # Strides, etc.) Manage event timelines, logistics, vendors, budgets, and execution Coordinate event committees, volunteers, and board engagement Oversee sponsorship fulfillment and donor experience at events Manage event-related communications (invitations, signage, journals) Conduct post-event analysis, reporting, and stewardship follow-up Ensure all meetings include agendas and follow-up notes within 48 hours Support donor cultivation through events and in-person engagement Foundation-Wide Expectations (ALL ROLES) All positions within the Montefiore Nyack Foundation are expected to uphold the highest level of professionalism and energy: Professional Appearance: Proper business attire required at all times (suit/blazer and professional shoes) Attitude: Positive, #can-do# mindset with enthusiasm for the mission Work Ethic: High energy, proactive, and solution-oriented Innovation: Bring fresh ideas to enhance fundraising and engagement Accountability: Meet deadlines and follow through on commitments Teamwork: Collaborative, respectful, and mission-driven approach Essential Job Qualifications # Education:# High School Diploma required.# Bachelor#s Degree preferred. Experience: 3#5+ years in event planning, fundraising, or nonprofit development Training/Certification: N/A Licensure: N/A Other: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work evenings/weekends for events. High energy, creative, and solutions-oriented mindset.# Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.# Physical agility including but not limited to walking, bending, climbing stairs, and periodically lifting up to 25 lbs.# Reliable transportation is #required.
