TCL Specialties, LLC — New Martinsville, WVStarting Pay: $55+/hour + Overtime + Potential IncentivesSchedule: Minimum 60 hours/week during commissioningAbout the RoleTCL Specialties is hiring experienced Commissioning Operator Specialists to support startup and commissioning activities at our new chemical manufacturing facility in New Martinsville, WV.This temporary role is designed for operators with prior chemical plant, petrochemical, refinery, power plant, or industrial commissioning/startup experience. Candidates must be comfortable working in a 24/7 commissioning environment, including rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and a minimum of 60 hours per week.This is not an entry-level operator role. The ideal candidate has strong field operating experience, understands safe plant startup practices, and can work closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractor teams to meet project milestones.CompensationStarting at $55+/hourAdditional incentives may be availableScheduleMinimum 60 hours per week required24/7 plant commissioning environmentRotating shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidaysTemporary assignment supporting commissioning and startup activitiesWhat You'll DoSupport plant commissioning, startup, and operational readiness activitiesPerform field operator duties during startup, testing, and system checksConduct equipment inspections, line walks, and readiness checksFollow startup procedures, operating procedures, safety procedures, and supervisory directionAssist with valve lineups, equipment checks, field readings, and troubleshooting activitiesMonitor process equipment and report abnormal conditions, leaks, mechanical issues, or safety concernsWork with operations, maintenance, engineering, technical staff, and contractors to resolve issuesSupport environmental, health, and safety compliance during commissioningOperate mobile equipment such as forklifts or manlifts when trained and certifiedHelp identify improvement opportunities and communicate them to supervisionWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma requiredVocational school, chemical process operator training, or associate degree preferredChemical plant, petrochemical, refinery, power plant, or industrial commissioning/startup experience requiredStrong mechanical aptitude and field troubleshooting abilityAbility to follow detailed procedures and work safely in a startup environmentUnderstanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirementsAbility to communicate clearly with supervisors, operators, maintenance, engineering, and contractorsWillingness to work rotating shifts and extended hoursPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and handle product bags weighing up to 55 poundsAbility to work in a chemical plant environmentAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform field operator duties for extended periodsAbility to safely operate mobile equipment when trained and authorizedBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurance
