FS Tax & Accounting strives to cultivate a collaborative and client-focused environment.Role DescriptionThis is a contract, hybrid role for a Tax Accountant based in Marlboro, NJ, with flexibility to work from home with an occasional in person session at times. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, handling monthly accounting work, supporting with tax notices and performing tax research. Additionally there will be support needed on attestation work. This role will be managed directly through the firm owner.QualificationsStrong expertise in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and general Tax processesExperience in preparing and analyzing Financial StatementsSolid knowledge of Accounting principles and practicesProficiency in tax software and accounting toolsStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus2+ years minimum experience in tax.Must be located in NJ for occasional in person meetings and training sessions.
