The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and execution, ensuring that creative concepts are translated into production-ready artwork that aligns with brand standards. This role demands a combination of technical precision, design skills, and the ability to handle tight deadlines.This role typically reports to the Creative Ops Manager, is based in our Buckhead office, and is on-site 4 days a week.90%: Creative & Retail ProductionTransform creative concepts and brand style guides into retail production-ready artwork, ensuring brand consistency across all deliverables.Adapt and resize creative assets for multiple formats, including in-store and print applicationsCollaborate with designers, art directors, and creative teams to maintain the visual quality and integrity of all projectsProblem-solve design challenges related to production constraints, such as layout adjustments or asset limitationsMaintain high attention to detail for typography, color, composition, and imagery across all formatsSupport the creative team in refining visual assets and ensuring smooth production workflowsBuild and prepare mock-ups, proofs, and renderings for reviewSubmit retouching requests for projects and assist with trafficking assets to ensure timely delivery and alignment with creative prioritiesMaintain organized documentation and production templatesEnsure all deliverables meet production standards and are submitted within deadlinesPartner with Creative Ops Manager traveling to support new store openings and store closures, including preparing and organizing materials for installation or removal10%: Collaboration & Quality ControlParticipate in project hand-offs and sprint planning sessions to understand requirements, timelines, and deliverablesProvide technical expertise on production best practices to support creative teams and cross-functional partnersWe’d Love to hear from you if: (Requirements section)Must Have3+ years prior experience in productionStrong design skills with a keen eye for visual aesthetics, accuracy and consistencyStrong understanding of production processes, including print and digital mediaProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and other design toolsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentAbility to adapt designs for multiple formats while maintaining brand standardsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsProficiency with file preparation for offset printing, large format printing, and web formatsKnowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principlesPreferred Skills And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of pre-press, color separations, and vendor production specificationsMake a Career At Carter’sCareer Development: Success starts from within, and we have several paths from which you can choose to enhance your career evolution.
