This position is responsible for safely operating edge banding equipment to meet production goals. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.Essential Functions (Other duties may be assigned)Operate machinery that applies PVC banding material to various panel types using hot melt glueLoad and install raw materials into the machineAdjust conveyor systems and trimming saws based on panel width and thicknessSet up, calibrate, and test machines prior to production runsMonitor and regulate conveyor belt speedsAdjust glue output as needed for quality and efficiencySet machine stops to match stock dimensionsAdjust end trimmers and buffer wheels as requiredMix glue when necessaryEnsure all equipment is operating safely and efficientlyEducation & Required SkillsHigh school diploma or GED requiredStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and use measuring tools such as digital calipers and tape measuresGood time management and organizational skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentComfortable in a fast-paced production settingPerks and Benefits:Referral bonus, possible retention and annual bonusesMedical benefits available after 60 days on assignmentWeekly pay via direct deposit or pay card
