Conveyor Belt Technician

PRC Industrial is seeking a Conveyor Belt Technician to join our field service team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor belt systems at customer sites. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, travel-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, splice, and repair conveyor belts (rubber, PVC, urethane, etc.)Perform mechanical maintenance on conveyor systems and related componentsDiagnose and troubleshoot belt tracking, splicing, and system performance issuesRespond to service calls in a timely and professional mannerWork safely in industrial environments, including manufacturing plants, quarries, and distribution centersMaintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working conditionCommunicate effectively with customers and internal team membersAccurately document work performed, materials used, and time spentTravel & Schedule ExpectationsFrequent local, regional, and overnight travel depending on job locationOvertime and weekend work required as neededQualificationsPrior experience with conveyor belt installation or industrial maintenance preferredMechanical aptitude required; experience with hand and power toolsAbility to perform heavy physical work (lifting, pulling, climbing, kneeling)Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when requiredValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordStrong work ethic and reliabilityPreferred ExperienceBelt splicing (vulcanization or mechanical)Experience in aggregates, manufacturing, or material handling industriesWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly pay with overtime opportunitiesFull benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.)Company-provided tools and equipmentOpportunities for advancement and technical trainingStable, growing company with a strong reputation in the industry
