Job Title: Rapid Response Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: 11:00 - 23:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Trauma experience Pediatric experience NIH Stroke Scale experience Advanced skills in ventilator monitoring Description: The position is for a Rapid Response Nurse in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will work with a patient ratio of 1:2. The unit has 40 beds and offers a team of healthcare professionals including unit secretaries and patient care technicians. Patient care technicians are available to assist with vital tasks such as drawing labs, catheterizations, and patient transport. The documentation system utilized is Cerner. Schedules are created on a 6-week basis, with 3 call shifts required during this time frame. Floating within peri-anesthesia areas, including Endoscopy, Pre-Op, and Phase II, may be expected. All successful candidates must possess current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Surgical green or navy scrubs are required as the uniform.
