Program Manager
Overview
In this role, you own and drive critical scope within a growing program as part of the Weapon Systems Program Office. You will oversee schedule, technical, and cost objectives, reporting to senior leaders and coordinating with cross-functional teams. You’ll apply Earned Value techniques, manage budgets as CAM, and steer IMS-driven plans to on-time delivery. You mentor other Project Managers and collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure program success. This is a hands-on, impact-focused opportunity in a mission-driven, defense-focused organization.

ResponsibilitiesManage financial, technical, and schedule requirements to deliver technically acceptable products on-time and cost-effectivelyDevelop and present formal briefs to internal and external senior leaders; lead internal dry runsApply Earned Value (EV) techniques to monitor the Performance Measurement BaselinePerform CAM responsibilities: budget baselines, cost reviews, variance analysis, EAC updates, sales forecastIdentify IMS critical paths and drive actionable plans for on-time/early task completionManage Risks & Opportunities for assigned scopeInterface with suppliers and Textron Systems’ Procurement for program updatesCoordinate with customer Program Manager(s) and communicate progressLead proposal generation and submittal to the customerMentor Project Managers
Key requirements8+ years of relevant experience including 2+ years in Program ManagementBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline; willing to work hands-on and lead cross-functional teamsAbility to solve ambiguous problems and collaborate with engineering, contracts, finance, scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing, and qualityStrong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in MS OfficeExcellent organizational skills and ability to own assigned scopeUS citizen with ability to obtain Secret-level security clearancestrong interpersonal skillsexcellent written and verbal communicationteam mindset and collaborationEarned Value ManagementIntegrated Master Schedule (IMS)Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities
