Program Manager
Overview
In this role you will oversee cross-functional program activities from new product development through production readiness and ramp. You will partner with Contracts, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to drive execution and meet milestones. You will develop schedules, manage risks and costs, and communicate status to stakeholders. Your impact lies in delivering complex aerospace/defense modules on time while enabling continuous improvement. ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and support execution of program activities across NPD, LRIP preparation, manufacturing handoff, and production rampDevelop and maintain detailed program schedules, track progress, and manage risks and issuesServe as primary cross-functional liaison with Engineering, Operations, and internal partners; support customer interactionsDrive cross-functional alignment, define roles and accountability, ensure timely milestonesMonitor program financials including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysisProvide program status, risks, and metrics through regular internal reporting and presentationsSupport customer communications, including status updates and issue resolutionFacilitate internal reviews to improve execution efficiency and outcomesEnsure adherence to schedules, cost targets, and quality expectations
Key requirementsBachelor’s Degree in engineering, business management, or related technical field2+ years of program/project management in an engineering/technical environmentFoundational knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and risk managementExperience supporting financial tracking and procurement activitiesEffective cross-functional communication and customer-facing presentation skillsUS Citizenship; ability to obtain a Secret Clearanceleadershipclear communicationorganizationprogram management principles (scheduling, budgeting, risk management)financial tracking and forecastingcustomer-facing communication
