Beyond core processing, you'll play a key role in payroll reporting, benefits program administration, and leave coordination — making this a well-rounded, high-impact position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.✦ Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and maintain semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulationsUpdate and assist managers with timesheet entries and navigate multi-tax payroll systemsPrepare and distribute detailed payroll reports to internal departments and auditors as neededMaintain and administer employee benefits programs, advising staff on taxable vs. non-taxable componentsProvide schedules for taxable benefit processing dates and amountsMonitor and assist with leave administration including FMLA, STD, NYSPFL, and ADA reportingReview and manage database files that generate job and pay adjustmentsSupport team members on collaborative projects and perform additional payroll duties as needed✦ What You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Accounting preferred (candidates in their final year are encouraged to apply)Prior experience in a high-volume, multi-tax payroll environmentStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to work under pressure and meet strict payroll deadlinesStrong communicator who works well both independently and as part of a team
